biography

I’ve been everywhere, man, I’ve been everywhere….

A little bit of everything in my life, a 1996 graduate of Illinois Valley Central High School in Chillicothe, Illinois. A member of the multi time state champion IVC Marching Grey Ghosts (4 time state champ in my time there.) Also the place where I met my future wife (a 1997 graduate.)

From there, I started as a law enforcement major, which lasted a year, then moved to an architecture major, which I eventually got an Associates Degree for, from Illinois Central College, while I was working for GTE/Verizon, as an engineer.

Got married to my “high school sweetheart” and followed her to North Carolina, where she could pursue her passion in Anesthesia, this brought us back home to Illinois, and lead me to a new passion as well. Film, and teaching. Got my Bachelors from Northern Illinois University, and followed that up with my Masters, in the meantime, our family grew, First Colin in 2009, then Jude in 2011.

I worked for 2 great television stations in CBS 58 in Milwaukee, and WIFR in Rockford, where my work has been nominated and won awards, while also continue to teach when needed in NIU.

My last little trip, took me away from day to day work, to 24 hours a day 7 days a week work, at home. Say hello to Mr. Mom, with my 3 boys, Colin, Jude and Henry (2015). Now I am here, designing websites, and teaching others how to do the same…A long way from where I started…
